Looking for a quick, tasty and delicious meal to make for your family this weekend? These Florida Shrimp and Beef Tacos fit the bill “to a t” — “t” for taco!

I was thrilled to partner with Fresh From Florida and follow the fresh, yet again, to make this tasty Shrimp and Beef Tacos recipe complete with Florida produce.

I tweaked the recipe a bit to better suit my family of 3 — but if your family is larger, you can double all ingredients. I also included a photo of the skewers used in warm tortillas and in a taco boat…yes, a taco boat y’all! How cool is that?

Fresh from Florida Bell Peppers | shrimp and beef tacos

I absolutely love incorporating Fresh from Florida bell peppers to my dishes. They add color, flavor and freshness to my recipes! In fact, I recently shared 4 reasons to buy locally grown, Fresh from Florida produce.

In that post I shared that one of the main reasons to buy locally grown produce is freshness and FLAVOR! When you buy locally grown produce, you know that the produce you purchase was harvested at their prime ripeness.

Out-of-state produce needs to be harvested in advance of their peak ripeness in order to package, ship and distribute it to your local supermarkets.

Did you know? Some out-of-state produce is picked months or even YEARS in advance, and then frozen in order to be transported thousands of miles to your local stores.

Fresh from Florida label

Fresh from Florida fruits and vegetables will always be fresh, full of flavor and rarely frozen. That is why the Fresh from Florida bell peppers I purchased at Publix pair perfectly with this amazing Florida Shrimp and Beef Taco recipe.

The easiest way of figuring out whether a fruit or vegetable is “Fresh from Florida” is by looking for the Fresh from Florida label!

The Fresh from Florida label = locally-sourced, in-season and fresh fruits and vegetables!
