Tuscana Resort Orlando by Aston Review

Resort Pre-Arrival: I spoke to Terri (Director of Sales) before our arrival. She was professional and prompt. Terri quickly made my reservation and sent me my confirmation number. I had no issues whatsoever during the pre-arrival stage.

Location: Tuscana Resort Orlando by Aston is 2 exits from Walt Disney World Resort and near all of the Central Florida Attractions and theme parks. The Resort offers concierge services in the lobby and great prices on attraction tickets, dinner shows, dining reservations and more. Tuscana Resort Orlando is located near the major Orlando expressways. There are plenty of pharmacies and grocery stores in the area.

Resort Arrival: Although I arrived at night, I was quickly greeted and made to feel “at home” by the young lady at the front desk. She referred to me by name (huge plus!) and immediately pulled up my reservation. She smiled and was extremely pleasant. I love starting vacations off on the right note! Checking in to the Resort was quick and easy. I was  given a map of the Resort, telephone number to call in case of any questions and/or emergencies, and the Wi-Fi password. I was also given 4 pool bands (one for each adult member in my party) and was told that these needed to be returned at the end of my stay. After signing all corresponding paperwork, I was on the way to my room in less than 5 minutes!

Resort Accommodation: 2-bedroom condominium on the fourth floor of Building 7. We were placed in room 7402. The 2-bedroom condominium sleeps up to 6 guests comfortably.

Wi-Fi/Internet: Wi-Fi is included and was easily accessible from our condominium.

Building Arrival: Each building has plenty of parking spaces which are conveniently located near the elevators and walkways. There is a ramp which leads to the elevators and helps with transporting luggage, strollers, and other large items to and from your room. All buildings have elevators for floors 2-4.

Room Arrival/First Impressions: Wow! I was hoping our accommodations would be spacious, but was blown away by the size of the condominium when I first opened the door. Once I entered the condo, I was immediately greeted by a spacious full kitchen, dining room, and living room. The living area had two couches, one of which was a Queen-sized pull-out sofa bed.

The condo we had was a “split” plan. The main bedroom and guest bedroom were on separate ends of the condo. I loved that they were not a part of the “living” area, but actual rooms themselves. The beds were comfortable, clean and had plenty of pillows. Both rooms featured queen-sized beds which were impeccably dressed. Each room had its own en-suite bathroom and the guest room’s restroom was accessible from both the bedroom and the living room.

Both rooms had their own spacious walk-in closet which could easily accommodate multiple pieces of luggage and had plenty of space for clothing/shoes. One of the closets had an ironing board, iron, vacuum and all of the “fixings” (pillows, sheets, etc.) for the sofa bed. The closets had plenty of hangers (“real” hangers, not those strange hangers you need to pull out one by one and need a PhD to figure out).

The condo was quiet, non-cluttered, and tastefully decorated.  When we first arrived, the condo was a bit warm, but that was quickly remedied by adjusting the temperature on the A/C control panel. The panel is fully accessible and easy to understand. While we did not use the washer/dryer, I can see why it would be greatly appreciated. There were many outlets, and that is of utmost importance is you plan on carrying a lot of electronics, chargers, or need to work while staying at the resort. There were outlets on both side of the bed which did not require the disconnection of any lamps or clocks to use. The Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable (another huge plus).

FYI: Tuscana Resort Orlando by Aston is a self-catering resort. A self-catering resort is a resort which does not include daily housekeeping. Condominiums are cleaned before a guest’s arrival and after a guest’s departure. If you run out of any products, it is your responsibility to purchase them for the remainder of your stay. The only amenities you can get replenished during your stay are towels.

Is the Resort Pet-Friendly? Tuscana Resort Orlando by Aston is pet-friendly! Please visit this link in order to read more about their pet policy.

What Else is Included? A complimentary starter pack of toilet paper, paper towel roll, soap, shampoo, conditioner and garbage bag is provided on arrival. Laundry soap is not included.

What Would I Change? The towels could be better quality. The towels were very small and thin. Kitchen equipment was outdated. The toaster, coffee maker, and blender could all be updated. They did not match the quality of the rest of the kitchen. Overall, most of the changes I would make are cosmetic.

Would I stay at the Tuscana Resort Orlando by Aston again? Absolutely!

Would I recommend the Tuscana Resort Orlando by Aston to friends and family? I already have!
